yesterday was Xmas.....(in case you don't know) ;p
had a small party at home......

not really a party.....should a gathering......

gathering of cause gather and and chatting and MAKAN......hehe.....

Roast Chicken

did not used turkey because it's too big.....
no food wasting.....^^

Simple Roast Potatoes

boiled the potatoes before roasting.....

they suck up all the butter+garlic oil given to them....

roasted till golden brown.....

crispy outside....soft & fluffy inside....

great aroma of butter and garlic....
it's the most FATTENING dish on table.....

but it's so goooooooooooooood.....coz I made this....XD

Vege with Cheese Sauce

CHEESE....my favourite....^^

crispy+juicy brocoli and cauliflower covered with thick cheese sauce....

Perfect Match......

Vegetarian macaroni with cheese

CHEESE again......hohoho....

the macaroni trapped the cheese inside the hollow tube...

the cheese just burst in mouth when chewing....in cheesy heaven....^^

can't forget to give credit to the table set up-per--> my younger sis

feel so warm and romantic with the candles on table.....

btw...we had our dinner outdoor....^^

it was a heavy & HIGH dinner.....

HIGH SALT...HIGH CALORIES...HIGH FAT

tired and tired and still tired....

but I'm happy happy and very happy....\(^o^)/

because of the gathering and outing with family....

PEACE Xmas eVe

it's Xmas eve.....

didn't feel like eating at home the same chinese food again....

so went to The Gardens have some western stuff

and most important to feel the festive air in town....

but......as expected......not many people there....

maybe most of the people were in church or balik kampung already....

so.......where we had our dinner?

The choosen one.....

They only served Xmas Eve set dinner for that day.....

First served the starter for sure

Then the main course....

they were served before we finished the starter.....==

comments: only the pasta is ok, the salmon and the chicken breast were a bit salty to OUR taste

lastly the dessert.....
was hoping they wouldn't disappoint me......
but still......

this one......rich choc mousse......but i think their fridge too powerful......

i could bite some little FROZEN mousse in it.....

Mini dessert: Strawberry Parfait and Shickers treat

they are really super mini.....few spoonful of the dessert spoon can finish it......

but the parfait really nice....^^

this is the Xmas eve dinner we had....

as expected.....it is a not-so-good meal

only the starters were considered good........

because I like the thick sweet sour dipping sauce for starters.......

after dinner.....

had a walk around Gardens and MV...
our main purpose just to snap some memory in front of those beautiful Xmas deco in mall....

if you haven't had the chance to see the deco of Gardens,KLCC and MV....

warm winter solstice

i think this post is the fastest update i ever made...
just finished my 团圆饭 (reunion dinner) with my dearest family...
around 9.30pm
a late dinner.....
because we're waiting for my sis...

what to eat???
of cause is the MUST-EAT festive food.....
汤圆 (tang yuan)

the tang yuan before sending into boiling water

look a bit cacat...

but they'll turn round and smooth after taking a hot bath in the delicous soup

the dough for tang yuan is home-made...

by the superwoman in my home-->my mom

the tang yuan more chewy and firm compared to those machine made one.....

had lots of tang yuan as usual....
tang yuan appear in my breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner for today....
it is a bit special this year....
other than the typical sweet tang yuan we usually have....
we also have some savory one this year.....^^

bathing in the warm broth full with chicken+duck+dried squid flavour

the soup looks quite oily....

it's too delicous for me not to finish it to the last drop

they look bigger than the savory one

coz they're filled with some red bean paste..

豆沙水 (thick red bean soup) is home-made as well.....

it's a tedious process to make this smooth thick red bean soup.....boiled the beans.....
removed the husk of the bean...
boiled the slurry again....

the soup is added with some 陈皮 (dried orange peel)...

which give hint of refreshing tanginess in soup...^^

home-made stuff is always the BEST...

Xmas shopping!!!

finally done all my assignments on Wed....
wohooooooooooo......
went Bukit Bintang on the following day....
SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Xmas is just in a week time....
it's always the best excuse for shopping.....^^

shop from morning till night......
PURELY shopping.....
no movie......
walk for the whole day....
finally.....it's 7.30pm
completed our 1st mission-->shopping

woke up 6:30am to join a "HIGHLY IMPORTANT" activity @ uni

ate 1/2 piece of bread to fill my empty stomach

burned RM5 of ron95 to make my car move 40km+

reached the destination and found NOBODY there

searched all over the place coz scared that I might overlook

STILL.....nobody nobody nobody was there

damn it....kena fooled ><



LATER...

will sign out and leave computer lab

will be driving another 40km to home

will start studying Solids of Mechanics at home


NOW....

enjoying the light speed connection at computer lab

wasting my precious time on fb-ing

typing this post to release my anger

signing out and packing my stuff

a misty Saturday

it was a Saturday morning of a hectic week......
woke up at 10am......
went downstairs.......
searching for food.....
couldn't find any ready-made one....
even bread also habis......
so had to cook myself.....

went upstairs again....
turned on the pc......
continue killing my brain cell for my C coursework.......
I was so concentrating on all those code......
squeezing my brain for more idea.....
then suddenly......some very weird smell just strike into my nose....
and my sight was a bit blur......
i turned and looked around....
my house was full with MIST.......
it's actually smoke....=p
hmm.....where does the smoke coming from......
don't know which useless people open burning......

THEN
a temporary lost memory suddenly restore back to my brain.....
I quickly ran downstairs.......
to the source of the smoke.....

I couldn't believe that I forgot such important thing.....
i planned to cook half-boiled egg as breakfast.....
who knows......
my memory space was taken up by the C.....
and the half-boiled egg turned to FULLY-BURNED EGG
luckily it didn't cause any fire.......
the pot was badly spoiled......
my house was fully covered with SMOKE......
filled with burning smell......
the sofa and curtain store the smell and make my house had the burned smell for half day.....

luckily didn't get scolded by my mom.....
a very good lesson.....= =
need to set reminder for everything.....
even it doesn't look/sound/SMELL important

Semester 1 ending next week......
unsurprsingly most classes is ending this week....
unsurprisingly there are many coursework due next week.....

surprisingly......I'm sitting in front of my pc.......
typing this post.......
I should be digesting my assignments......
I should be super duper busy this week.....
I should have no time for blogging at this moment.....

If you think I'm dying of doing assignment....
and need a little refreshment through blogging.....
then you are WRONG

I planned to do my C-programming tonight......
I purposely save a softcopy of the questions in my Thumbdrive....
I didn't print it out.....because I'm preserving the TREEs....XD
I even purposely get the C-free installer from U-drive.....
and install it into my pc......
so I open my Thumbdrive......
search for the word document.......
and i could not find it.......
I thought I didn't save it......
but then I found it in the next second......
and guess what......

it is saved as .docx
damn it...... >.<
my lousy pc doesn't have office 2007......
I forgot to convert it to 2003 version before saving.....
how smart am I.....==

now.....nothing I can do....
a perfect plan for tonight gone.....
thanks to the SURPRISE I set for myself......
I should go pasar malam with seah tonight...... (T_T)

there is another SURPRISE fell on us today actually.....
thrown by my dear Electrical Circuit lecturer.....
a brand NEW coursework.....
due next week also......
some people are rushing the C coursework these few days.....
coz they've already planned to go back hometown by this weekend.....
who knows......
at the time when all of us thought there won't be any NEW coursework....
there it is......

now plan changed.....
settle the one which can be done with pen and paper......
computers are so unreliable.......

LAST n FINAL

the sound of jingle bell and the smell of X'mas
make me realize that I am already in the FINAL month of 2OO9
which means my FINAL exam is just 30 days away.....
and sem 1 going to end soon....
and I just safely passed through week 10 of sem 1

FIRST week of FINAL month was hectic....
Monday-->Tenji buffet
this may sound so relaxing....but it starts the hell of my week.....

Tuesday ~~ Wednesday -->lab report and ProE + sick
could feel the weight of my head had increased....
and felt like vomiting for the whole day.....
the sudden illness made me break my own record for NEVER sleep in class......= =
slept for 30min in the super duper boring C programming class....
I even forgot about the important yuncha session with my VIPs that night....
luckily it was postponed.....

Thursday ~~ Friday--> all about math test
everyone studied like hell....
realized that my ProE which I THOUGHT already completed....
is actually NOT......= =

NEXT WEEK...another hectic one....
LAST progress test which is 14 hours from now....
submission of the LAST lab report
submission of LAST ProE drawing
submission of C programming coursework

back to study my test now....
